Emergency electrolytes
In the next days it is said to be still very hot. Please take good care of yourself and your dogs. If dehydration does occur, the following recipe can help quickly. However, you should visit your vet as soon as possible.
1 l boiled water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sodium bicarbonate (baking powder)
1 teaspoon sugar
1 banana
or 1 orange or 1 apple
In an emergency, the lost electrolytes can be quickly fed to your dog through this recipe. However, this does not replace a visit to the vet.
